With a population of more than 116,000, Waverley is in southwest Surrey and takes in Farnham, Godalming, Haslemere and Cranleigh. According to ‘Location, Location, Location’, it’s the fourth best place to live in the UK.

Waverley employs almost 450 people to advise the council, carry out policies and administer 110 different services to residents and communities throughout the borough. Approximately 350 people are based in the main office at Godalming with the remainder working in locations around the borough.

Waverley’s employees voted it one of the best councils to work for in The Times 'Best Councils to work for' 2008’ awards.
